LOUD is a meta-distribution of Ubuntu Linux that has been customized and outfitted with all of the software necessary for many Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering courses. Using LOUD in a VM, students and faculty members have access to the same OS, software, and configurations as our computing facilities but on their very own computers.
